Horses before children

It’s good to hear from Baw Baw Shire CEO Helen Anstis that horses are of higher priority than children. (Development money not for Kinders Gaz 9/6)

Our council has raised 4.5 million dollars from development contribution funds. Amongst other community projects she says this will be used to build a new equestrian centre at Drouin however not invested in children despite the need to accommodate the population growth to 2030. “No DCP funds specifically on early childhood facilities and no DCP funds allocated to Kinders in the 2015/16 budget”
