Neerim District Community Bank Celebrating it’s 15th Birthday

Neerim District Community Bank® Branch is getting ready to celebrate its 15th birthday on Saturday 18 July 2015 with a community party outside the branch in Neerim South.

Chairman, Tim Kubale said the locally-owned and operated branch has grown from strength to strength since it was established in 2000.

“Thanks to community support, and the hard work of our branch staff, we have been able to build the business steadily over the past fifteen years,” Mr Kubale said.

“We plan to continue to share this success with our community through future grants programs and shareholder dividends.”

Since opening its doors, Neerim District Community Bank® Branch has grown to boast $120 million in banking business and over 2000 customers.

Mr Kubale said Neerim District residents, traders and community organisations had all learned the benefits of banking locally.

“As our profitability grows, so too does our ability to channel our profits into much-needed community infrastructure and services,” he said.

“Our branch was set up by the community, for the community, so we are always looking for ways we can help strengthen the Neerim District”

Neerim District Community Bank® Branch will celebrate its birthday on Saturday 18th July 2015 with a free BBQ, Face Painter, Jumping Castle and a visit by Piggy outside the branch from 9:00am til 3:00pm and is inviting the whole community to come along and join in the festivities.
