A Gippsland boy, Leigh has gathered an innovative team to bring a unique dining experience to Warragul.

Leigh has worked at Oyster Little Bourke and ‘ Mezzo’ under the guidance of Argentinean chef Mauro Callegari (The Independent, Gembrook).

He was also the first and only Australian to work for Italian innovator Carlo Cracco in Milan in the restaurants 12 year history.

Leigh returned to Melbourne to refine his skills with one of Melbourne’s most respected chefs, Scott Pickett at his restaurant, The Estelle in Northcote.

He completed his time with Pickett before returning to Warragul to open Big Spoon Little Spoon.

BSLS uses Gippsland’s finest produce and the knowledge and experience of his ever developing team to bring you a menu full of flavour and excitement.

The team at BSLS are very proud to have won this award and thank those that dine with them.
